Oxford vs Harvard Polo, Sunday 17 Sept. 2017

Come and support the Dark Blues who have crossed the Atlantic to play Harvard in the annual Invitational Polo at Myopia Hunt Club on Sunday 17th September!

Two of the oldest university polo clubs will face each other again, having recently competed at the Atlantic Cup in June and the Metropolitan Intervarsity Polo tournament in July. Oxford University Polo Club, established in 1874, hopes to maintain its winning streak, with recent victories in both the aforementioned tournaments and the La Martina Varsity Polo match at Guards Polo Club.

The Harvard Invitational Polo, now in its sixth year, serves as the kickoff game for the college polo season and is played at the historic Gibney Field at Myopia, the oldest active polo field in the country. Previous instalments have seen international teams from the Netherlands, Mongolia, and France battle against Harvard Polo.

All alumni of Oxford and Cambridge, as well as friends of OXCAMNE, are invited to come along and cheer the Blues, as well as enjoy a great day out! Picnics and beverages strongly encouraged.
